Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 July 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Fynxo Kiddies Solutions Ltd("Fynxo", "we", "us"), the operator of the Fynxo App mobile application and the Fynxo website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who may use Fynxo

Fynxo accounts may only be created by adults aged 18 or over who are the parent or legal guardian of the children they add to their family account. Children use the Service only through profiles their parent creates and supervises, signing in with a username and PIN their parent manages. You are responsible for all activity on your family account and for keeping your password and your children's PINs confidential.

3. What Fynxo is (and is not)

Fynxo is an educational and family-organisation tool: lessons, quizzes, chores, and reward systems that help children learn about money, values, and responsibility. Coins, XP, badges, and levels in the app are play values with no monetary worth — they cannot be exchanged for real money and exist only inside your family's account. Where parents choose to link chores or rewards to real pocket money, that arrangement is entirely between the parent and child; Fynxo does not hold, transfer, or owe any money to children.

Fynxo provides financial education for children. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice for you or your family.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Parts of the Service require a paid subscription. New accounts receive a free trial; after it ends, continued access to paid features requires an active plan. Prices, billing intervals, and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Paystack) in the currency shown at checkout.

Your subscription runs for the billing period you purchased and must be renewed to continue. If a subscription lapses, we provide a short grace period before paid features are locked; your family's data is not deleted when a subscription lapses. We may change plan prices or features with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started — but if something has gone wrong, contact us and we will try to put it right.

5. Your content

Families can add content to the Service — for example chore proof photos, avatar choices, and encouragement messages ("Family Content"). You keep ownership of Family Content. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and display it to your family so the Service can function. You are responsible for Family Content and must have the right to upload it; do not upload content that is unlawful, harmful to children, or infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access other families' accounts or data; probe, disable, or disrupt the Service or its security; reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service; upload malicious code; use automated tools to scrape the Service; or misrepresent your identity or your relationship to a child. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with immediate effect where necessary to protect children or the Service.

7. AI-generated content

Some content in the Service — such as lesson material and suggested discussion questions — is generated with the help of artificial intelligence and reviewed processes. AI content can occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. It is provided to support family learning and conversation, and parents should use their own judgement about how it fits their family.

8. Faith content

Faith-based lessons are optional and shown only if a parent selects a faith preference for their family. Faith content is educational and values-focused; it reflects general themes of the selected tradition and is not religious instruction from, or endorsed by, any religious authority.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service — including the Fynxo name and logo, app design, characters, worlds, lessons, software, and all content we create — belongs to Fynxo Kiddies Solutions Ltdor our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your family's personal, non-commercial use while these Terms are in effect. No other rights are granted.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where practicable). Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — survive.

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Fynxo reliable, safe, and accurate, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Educational outcomes depend on many factors; we do not guarantee any particular learning result.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fynxo Kiddies Solutions Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including under Nigerian consumer-protection law.

13. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We are continuously improving Fynxo and may add, change, or remove features. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify parents in the app or by email before they take effect, and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria. If you have a problem, please contact us first at info@fynxoapp.com — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
